Waterfowl habitat

The River Inn between Celerina and Punt dal Bovs is one of the most important resting and wintering areas for waterfowl in the Engadine. 

1. This island was created thanks to the construction of a new side channel. It is excluded from grazing, thereby providing the ground-nesting whinchat with a protected and undisturbed habitat.
